CAPON’S CHOP HOUSE
For Capon’s Chop House, a modern steakhouse in New Jersey and part of the VCR Hospitality Group, I collaborated with Interior Designer Vanessa Deleon and Tim from Vanessa Deleon Associates to create a custom faux textured ceiling that redefines the ambiance of the space. Inspired by the essence of fire, I designed an abstract flame motif that subtly dances across the curved ceiling architecture.
This bespoke finish comes alive through the integrated light feature at the base of the soffit, casting a warm, amber glow that enhances the richness of the texture. The effect is both elegant and inviting—evoking the warmth of a glowing hearth and infusing the dining area with comfort and sophistication. This design element was carefully curated to complement the restaurant’s refined yet welcoming atmosphere, creating a visual experience that resonates with both style and soul.
